The design of Custom SH65 is very refined, both in terms of materials and geometry, following are the main peculiarities:
6.58 mm2conductors made from Pure AM-RCC Copper with purity grade 7N 99.9999% in very thin 0.1mm strands, and each conductor consists of as many as 714 wires.
AM-RCC (Annealed Multicore Ricable Copper Conductor) is a conductor made by a special processing technique in which a single wire is drawn in the absence of oxygen from a large conductor. At each step the copper is annealed and the grain becomes larger and larger, improving in purity and conductivity. At the end of processing, a Multicore conductor is obtained with strands like hair and a very high degree of purity (N7 99.9999%), which allows the signal to pass perfectly and the cable to achieve very high degrees of flexibility, despite the high cross sections involved.
Due to the use of Quality materials and a Twisted conductor structure it allows very low Resistance levels (3.1 Ohm/Km) with current support up to 650W RMS, despite its small size. Hexaphonic geometry with triple twisted twisted wires and solid core center conductor. The conductors are twisted around the solid core conductor and allow for to lower the inductances to a very high degree. The insulation of the conductors is made of TPE Elastomer which provides an excellent dielectric constant, in addition there are PE cords which further improve the insulation and refine the cording of the cable. Double shielding for this wonderful cable, with Aluminum/Mylar foil Overbraid in OFC copper. The whole is encased in a thick extra flexible and strong PVC sheathing with an outer diameter of 18 mm.
