Ricable Custom S8D is a Hi-Fi signal cable for the production of Analog, Unbalanced or Balanced Stereo signal cables. Derived from Ricable R&D department, it has conductors made with AM-RCC Copper with purity grade 7N 99.9999%, significantly higher than that of OFC copper.
Salient Features
The design of Custom S8D is designed to significantly improve the transit of the Audio signal, following are the main peculiarities:
Conductors of 0.34 mm2AM-RCC copper with purity grade 7N 99.9999% in very thin strands (0.10mm) and very flexible and strong sheathing. These conditions allow easier installation and superior performance to cables of the same cross section and characteristics.
Thanks to the copper used and other quality materials, despite being a rather large signal cable, it has enviable flexibility, making it ideal even for installations where absolute performance audio cable is needed.
Dielectric isolation is made of Polyethylene, to better harmonize sound while reducing electrical capacitance. S8D features double shielding, to minimize EMI/RFI interference across the entire audio band.
Ricable Custom S8D features internal cotton insulation, which is corded together with the conductors to improve efficiency.
The construction of the S8D is very refined, with complex geometry to achieve top performance in metered cables. Insulation with cotton strings interwoven with the conductors and double shielding, made of High Coverage Braided Copper and Aluminum/Mylar.
